The journey begins among the elephant herds and giant baobabs of Tarangire before heading out onto the great plains of the Serengeti in search of lion, cheetah, and the herds they follow. Pickup from your Arusha hotel at 08:30 and drive to Tarangire National Park, known for its large elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, and wildlife along the Tarangire River.
