Absolutely Kili and Travel is a locally-owned Tanzanian company based in Arusha, at the foot of Kilimanjaro. We began where the country's greatest adventure begins - on the mountain - and grew into a team that now guides the whole journey, from the summit to the Serengeti to the shores of Zanzibar.
Our guides grew up in the shadow of Kilimanjaro, learning its routes, its weather and its moods long before they led their first climbers to Uhuru Peak. That intimate knowledge of the mountain is where Absolutely Kili and Travel was born.
Over time, the travellers who trusted us with their climb began asking us to plan the rest of their Tanzania too – a Serengeti safari here, a week on Zanzibar there. So we built a team who could do it all, seamlessly and to the same standard. Today we craft complete, tailor-made journeys across Tanzania and East Africa, still with the mountain at our heart.

We are a locally owned, Tanzanian tour operator based in Arusha, founded in 2012. Our guides and office team live and work in Tanzania year-round, and every itinerary is planned by people who know these routes and parks first-hand.
Almost all of our journeys are private and tailor-made to your dates, pace and budget. If you would rather share the cost and the trail with other travellers, we also run small scheduled group departures on Kilimanjaro.
We started on Kilimanjaro and grew from there. Today we plan complete Tanzania journeys – Kilimanjaro and Meru climbs, Serengeti and Ngorongoro safaris, and Zanzibar beach extensions – as one seamless itinerary, or on their own.
