Mpingo Tented Camp

Lemala Mpingo Ridge Lodge (also referred to as Mpingo Tented Camp) is a luxury tented lodge set high on an escarpment inside Tarangire National Park, overlooking the Tarangire River and the valley below. The elevated position gives sweeping views over the park’s large elephant herds and baobab-studded landscape, placing guests in the heart of one of Tanzania’s great elephant parks.

The lodge has fifteen spacious, elevated tented suites built to make the most of the valley views and natural breezes. Each canvas suite has a private viewing deck, a sunken outdoor lounge that doubles as a daybed, and a private outdoor bathtub, with twin or super-king beds, walk-in indoor showers and personal butler service. The style blends five-star comfort with rustic, natural textures.

The elevated main lodge houses a lounge, an intimate bar, a swimming pool and a wellness spa, with farm-to-table dining served indoors or outdoors and menus tailored to different dietary needs. Beyond daytime game drives, the camp’s setting allows morning bush walks, sundowners and night game drives with the lodge’s own guides.
