Nyika Tented Camp

Nyikani Camp Central Serengeti is an eco-tented camp on the slopes of Banagi Hill, about a 20-minute drive from the Seronera airstrip in the central Serengeti. Its position gives good year-round wildlife viewing, with wide views over the surrounding plains.

The camp has twelve guest tents and a family tent, spaced well apart for privacy and set on raised platforms. Each canvas tent has a private shaded veranda, locally made furnishings, an in-room safe and an en-suite bathroom with solar-heated hot water, and the camp runs off-grid on solar power.

A central mess tent serves as the communal hub, with multi-course meals prepared by Tanzanian chefs, a lounge and a bar. In the evening guests gather around an open fire pit under the stars, with the sounds of the plains around them.
