Serengeti Bush Camp

Serengeti National Park

Overview

Serengeti Tanzania Bush Camp (commonly known as Serengeti Bush Camp) is a semi-permanent, Tanzanian-owned tented camp on Banagi Hill in the central Serengeti, about 15 km north of the Seronera wildlife area. Being unfenced, the camp lets wildlife such as zebra, impala and hyena move through the grounds for a raw, immersive feel.

The camp has twelve spacious canvas tents, raised and well spaced for privacy, each with queen beds under mosquito nets, carpeting, a writing desk and seating. Despite the canvas setting, tents have 24-hour solar power, internet access and full en-suite bathrooms with flush toilets and hot showers.

A large mess tent connects to a lounge and a well-stocked bar, with buffet breakfasts and multi-course dinners using fresh local ingredients, sometimes served in the open. After dark, guests gather at the open-air campfire while trained Maasai staff escort them to and from their tents.
