8 Days Uganda primates Adventure Fixed Group Safari is a fixed departure safari that gives you an opportunity to interact with the local communities, choose a departure date that suites your time of travel and we shall book you in for that departure date.
This African safari adventure visits the small but impressive Lake Mburo National Park, then drives for about 6 hours through the beautiful western countryside to the gorilla park, Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. From the jungle after gorilla tracking, you’ll then visit Queen Elizabeth National park for a savanna game drive adventure then end the Primates Adventure Safari with hike through Kibale Forest to see the chimpanzee troops.
Welcome to Uganda! On arrival for this Uganda primate group tour, you will be met and greeted at the Airport by a Valiant Safaris driver guide who will be your Driver for the safari, and then transfer to your hotel for an overnight.
Each group member will be received and transferred according to their time of arrival in Uganda.

Having met with the rest of the group members and a briefing done, we shall start the Uganda primate adventure tour this morning.
Pick up from your hotel and drive westward with a stopover en-route at the equator arriving in time for lunch at the lodge before heading to Lake Mburo Rwonyo peninsular for an afternoon boat cruise, Alternatively you can opt for a guided safari walk in the park instead of a boat safari.
The park is the smallest of the Uganda’s protected savannah parks with lots of metamorphic rocks and a home to over 350 species of birdlife, zebras and buffaloes are the face of the game in this savannah land. Elands, Oribi Waterbucks, Hippos, Reedbucks, Topi and a Leopard can also be spotted on a lucky day. After a boat cruise time allowing you will go for an evening game drive in the park.

A game drive early in the morning before starting the drive to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park with lunch en-route. The drive will take you along a tarmac route and then a reasonable distance on a murram road some parts of the road are bumpy and while on the drive you will enjoy a true massage of the African wilderness roads.
After check in at the lodge you will have a well earned rest contemplating on the gorilla trekking experience the following morning.

Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park is located in south-western Uganda edge at the edge of the great east African Rift Valley. It is a home to over 400 species of mountain gorillas about half of the world’s population. Many of these are habituated in families that are daily visited by tourists. The forest is also a home to over 350 species of birds and 400 flora species.
Gorilla trekking starts at 8am after a briefing at the park headquarters, you will trek through the dense steep forest searching for the gorillas depending on where they were seen making nests the previous evening.
The trekking can last 2-7 hours depending on how soon you find the Gorillas, this is influenced by the location they stayed overnight. Trekking can be a tasking adventure, but coming to a facial close-up with these close relatives to human is a reward worthy to earn. After gorilla trekking, in the afternoon time permitting you will go for a community walk.

Morning transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park for a game drive in Ishasha sector, searching for tree climbing lions and many more animal species to spot on the game drive. Ishasha sector is the most endowed with animal species including Impalas, Elands, Buffaloes, elephant, famous tree climbing lions and depending on how lucky you are; you may also find a Leopard.
Continue the drive to Mweya where you will have lunch before a boat safari on the Kazinga Channel, this will give you great views of several game including Hippos, Buffaloes, elephants and birdlife that queen Elizabeth National Park has to offer. off the boat cruise and continue with and evening game drive in the park en-route to your lodge for an overnight.

A morning game drives in the Kasenyi plains through to Katwe Kob mating grounds. Most of the animals you are likely to find here include impalas, sitatungas and lions when lucky enough. You may get time to visit the Katara women group who make paper products out Elephant dung before transferring to Kibale Forest National Park with Lunch En-route.
Afternoon launch cruise on the Kazinga channel will give you great views of several game including Hippos, Buffaloes, elephants and birdlife that queen Elizabeth National Park has to offer. Kazinga channel connects lake Edward to lake George in the park, off the boat cruise; continue with and evening game drive in the park if time permits before returning to your lodge for an overnight.

A morning visit to the crater lakes region and transfer to Kibale Forest National Park with Lunch En-route. Afternoon visit to Bigodi for a swamp walk and community experience.
Bigodi swamp, is a community project aimed at improving the livelihoods of the local people, a local guide will lead you on a developed 4.5km trail through the swamp for approximately 3 hours where you can find several bird species including the great blue Turacos, Hornbills Kingfishers and also Black and White Colobus, Red Colobus, Red Tailed Monkey, Grey Cheeked Mangabey, Olive Baboon, L’hoest Monkey, Vervet Monkeys can be spotted.

Morning Chimpanzee Tracking adventure; Kibale forest has over 1,450 individuals (Chimpanzees) protected within the park. At Kanyanchu, a community of chimpanzees has been habituated since 1991, allowing visitors an outstanding opportunity to Track these apes in their natural Habitat.
Tracking starts at 7am with a briefing at Kanyanchu Park headquarter where you will be allocated rangers to take you to the forest. An advance team already in the forest keep tracking the chimps and communicates with your ranger on the radio call, tracking can last for 2 to 4 hours depending on how far the chimps could be feeding.
On returning from chimp tacking, have lunch at the lodge before starting a gentle drive through tea plantations and beautiful sceneries with a lunch stopover en-route arriving Entebbe late afternoon in time to check in for your flight back home.
